Aeroports de Catalunya has the\u00a0environmental commitment<\/a> for the protection of the environment, the sustainability of air transport and the fight against climate change at the Lleida-Alguaire airport through the ACA (Airport Carbon Accreditation<\/a>)<\/p>\n

This airport has followed a series of procedures to comply with environmental
\nregulations. This means carrying out compensatory measures for the location of this infrastructure. These compensatory measures are basically three:<\/p>\n

To allocate an area equivalent to that occupied by the airport to suitable lands for the protection of steppe habitats, the flora and fauna associated through lease agreements and \/ or purchase with owners of the area.<\/p><\/div>

Present studies of the levels of evaluation of the sound emission that include the points that delimit the zone of noise and the affected receptors.<\/p><\/div>

The ornithofauna is monitored, especially of the most vulnerable species.
